I stare at words all day for work: editing, writing, email reading, everywhere I turn, words words words. Try as I might, by the time evening rolls around, I have about 30 minutes of solid reading left in my withering eyeballs before they fully go caput for the day. Much to the delight of my optometrist, there are plenty of T.V. shows to take my mind (and eyes) off the written word — at least where work is concerned.
Also lucky for us, fellow bibliophile, there’s a surge of book adaptations storming pop culture at the moment. Which are worth your time? Below, I’ve listed the ones I’ve watched, and others that look especially enticing (minus one ~ hound dog love story ~ that’ll be getting the feature treatment early next month). Did I miss one?
